'A Court of Thorns and Roses' Author Announces New Novels—Now Available for Pre-Order

Fans of Sarah J. Maas have something new to look forward to.
Two newly announced novels from the bestselling author behind the wildly popular A Court of Thorns and Roses series are now available for pre-order at Barnes & Noble.
According to listings on the retailer's website, both upcoming titles can currently be reserved in multiple formats, including hardcover editions, ebooks and audiobooks. The early availability allows readers to secure copies ahead of their official release dates.
On a recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Mass announced that not one, but two new novels in the bestselling series are headed for bookstore shelves. Though the titles of the latest installments of A Court of Thorns and Roses have yet to be announced, the first of the two books, nicknamed ACOTAR 6will be released on Oct. 27, 2026, while the second, ACOTAR 7, is due out on Jan. 12, 2027.
Maas has become one of the most successful fantasy authors of the past decade. Her A Court of Thorns and Roses series, which blends romance, fantasy and adventure, has attracted a massive global following and regularly appear on the The New York Times bestseller list.

First published in 2015, the series follows huntress Feyre Archeron as she is drawn into a magical world of faeries, political intrigue and epic battles. Over the years, the books have grown into a cultural phenomenon, with millions of copies sold worldwide and a devoted fan base that eagerly anticipates each new installment.
Maas is also known for other bestselling fantasy series, including Throne of Glass and Crescent City, which have further expanded her universe of characters and interconnected storylines.
