U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to speak at PA Chamber Dinner

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) -- The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry revealed that Kevin Hart and Bret Michaels would be guests at its annual PA Chamber dinner on Thursday. Now, they've added another high-profile name to the list.
U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent was announced as another addition to the program Sunday. He will "participate in a fireside chat focused on key issues affecting employers and communities across Pennsylvania, including economic growth, workforce development, competitiveness, and the global forces influencing the future of American business."

"This year's Annual Dinner will feature one of the most dynamic and impactful programs we have ever assembled," Luke Bernstein, President & CEO of the PA Chamber, said in a press release. "Secretary Bessent is playing a leading role in developing and implementing the economic policies that impact businesses, workers, and communities across Pennsylvania and the nation. His insights on the economy, workforce, and international affairs will provide tremendous value for our attendees, and we are honored to welcome him to PA for this year's dinner."

Ahead of the dinner, Bessent plans to speak at a press conference with Congressman Scott Perry, Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward, Senator Greg Rothman, and other legislators to "discuss what automatic enrollment for Trump Accounts means for Pennsylvania families."
In addition to his role in overseeing the Treasury Department, Bessent previously spent more than four decades as the founder of Key Square Capital Management and is "widely recognized as a leading voice on financial markets, economic policy, and international finance."
Hart will also headline as a fireside chat speaker, while Michaels will participate in a Q&A session.
