The View cohost Sara Haines revealed that she slid into Summer House star Kyle Cooke's DMs — and received a humbling reply.

Producer Brian Teta described Haines' message to Cooke as "a manifesto."

Haines' View colleague Alyssa Farah Griffin observed: "Honestly, if you didn't have your kids and husband prominently featured, he probably would've given you a lengthier response and flirted back."

The Viewcohost Sara Haines took a side journey to the DMs of Summer House star Kyle Cooke — and, by her own admission, received a bit of a humbling reply from the Bravo star.

Haines revealed last week that she slid into Cooke's DMs after becoming a fan across season 10 of the reality series. This week, the daytime TV host offered an update to producer Brian Teta and cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin on the latest episode of View companion podcast Behind the Table.

"I heard he responded," Teta said, describing Haines' message to Cooke as "a manifesto" to the star.

"It was long," Griffin said, repeating the sentiment again to emphasize the message's length when she joked, "It was longer than the MOU for the Iran deal."

Haines and Griffin laughed at the assessment, as Teta pressed Haines to reveal details of the star's reply.

"Short," Haines said. "But sweet!" Griffin added, with Haines attempting to salvage the description by relaying that Cooke was "very sweet" and "appreciated the support" she offered.

"It was basically, 'Not going to read that essay, but, thanks for reaching out,'" Teta clarified of Cooke's response.

"Honestly, if you didn't have your kids and husband prominently featured, he probably would've given you a lengthier response and flirted back," Griffin told her colleague.

Haines attempted to explain why she felt compelled to contact Cooke, whose narrative on the show caused immense fan discourse.

"I have a hard time watching Kyle trying to get people to listen to him," Haines admitted. "The amount of times... words where he's slurring, alcohol, any addiction, it's self-medication. He's clearly self-medicating, and when he goes on to say things, he says over and over, like, 'Am I crazy? Does no one see this?' I felt the need to scream at my TV, 'I see you. I hear you.' Because he was being completely bullied and demeaned and excused."

Haines said that Cooke's story broke her heart, referencing his rocky relationship with Amanda Batula, whom he separated from in January after four years of marriage. Though his treatment of Batula was criticized by viewers, it was eventually revealed that Batula was seeing fellow star West Wilson, a friend of Cooke's and the ex of their costar Ciara Miller.
