McRae made her Met Gala debut this week wearing a jaw-dropping gold-lace mermaid dress by Ludovic de Saint Sernin for this year’s theme, “Costume Art,” and the dress code “Fashion is Art.” The singer slipped into a sheer version of this dress for the Saint Laurent after-party hosted at People’s Bar. The body-hugging slip dress is a casual variation of the original red carpet number and features similar gold lacy fabric with intricate floral details. McRae completed the look with a pendant necklace, black sunglasses, and a pair of sandal heels.
