It’s always a joy to see someone doing exactly what they were born to do. I had that pleasure earlier this week catching *Community* alum Jim Rash’s one-man improv show. With just a title and character name supplied by the audience, he performed an impromptu hour that was equal parts hilarious and heartwarming. Say goodbye to New Era predictability and hello to Open Era “permanent uncertainty.” Jeff Probst has shaken up the game on the new season (Wednesdays on CBS) by doing away with all the familiar twists and wrinkles of the past 10 seasons, meaning both players and viewers alike truly have no idea what is coming next. And with a colorful cast of characters, including folks such as Devin, Eric, Jelly (yes, Jelly), and Ana on the island, anything can happen from the players themselves as well.
