Summary -

Shia LaBeouf was filmed screaming “F–k off!” at a woman sitting near him at an outdoor Rome café, who remained completely unbothered.

The incident occurred during his court-approved trip to Italy for his father’s baptism, weeks after a Mardi Gras battery arrest in New Orleans.

The Rome outburst is the latest in a string of public incidents, including a hotel lobby confrontation in his underwear and a tearful shouting match with New Orleans police.

Shia LaBeouf went to Rome for his father’s baptism. He left us with something very different.

The controversial actor was spotted earlier this week sitting at a table in a t-shirt and jeans, sipping out of a bottle at an outdoor restaurant in Italy’s capital. And then, because the universe apparently has a flair for the dramatic, things escalated quickly.

In video obtained by TMZ, LaBeouf seems to be having a lively one-way conversation with a woman — who tries to ignore him — when he suddenly screams “F–k off!” at her. The woman, an absolute icon of composure, remains calm in the footage, showing little reaction. She didn’t move a muscle. She didn’t even look at him. Truly, we should all aspire to her energy.

In a separate clip from the same outing, LaBeouf is seen pacing near a crosswalk, raising his voice again while gesturing emphatically. It’s unclear from the video whether he was addressing the same woman.

Now, to be fair, nobody ends up in Rome for their dad’s baptism and screaming through the streets of a crosswalk by accident. This is all part of a deeply concerning recent pattern. Shia was arrested in the early hours of Mardi Gras 2026 in New Orleans, Louisiana, following a bar fight in the French Quarter. Police reports stated he was involved in an altercation where another person may have suffered a nose injury. He was charged with two counts of simple battery.

After the arrest, he was released on bond and required to follow court conditions, including rehab and drug testing. The bond amount was set at $100,000. Despite all that, a judge allowed him to make the Rome trip. Italy, perhaps, did not know what it was signing up for.

The café moment wasn’t even the most unhinged Rome footage. During his time in Rome, he was also filmed in a separate incident inside a hotel lobby, where he appeared agitated while asking strangers for a light, saying, “Come on bro, give me a f***ing match. You got a match?” He was, by the way, wearing only boxers at the time. When in Rome.

Back stateside, things weren’t calmer. In a separate interaction with police outside his home, LaBeouf was heard saying, “I’m a target,” and later became visibly emotional, stating, “I have a f**king three-year-old!”

A former collaborator has also weighed in, saying LaBeouf is surrounded by “yes men” and describing the behavior as “clinical narcissism.”

LaBeouf has been living in New Orleans since last year after a separation from actress Mia Goth, according to sources cited by Page Six. Representatives for the actor have not commented on the Rome footage.

The woman at that café, meanwhile, remains unbothered somewhere in Rome — and is almost certainly having a better week than Shia LaBeouf.
