Sharon Stone informed fans that her brother, Mike Stone, died at age 74.
“Mike Stone, My oldest brother, Has passed away. Following an extended illness. We wish him peace. Sharon, Roan, Laird & Quinn,” she wrote on Instagram. Mike was the eldest of three as Sharon has two other siblings — Kelly, 65, and Patrick. The 68-year-old Hollywood star previously lost her youngest brother at age 57 in 2023.
The message was signed off by Sharon and her three children — Roan, 25, Laird, 21, and Quinn, 19. It comes after Sharon shared the final words from her mother.

Fans and friends rushed to share their sympathies to the family. Actress Marg Helgenberger wrote on Instagram, "I’m so sorry for your loss Sharon. Sending love to you & your family."
"My deepest condolences to you and your family! So sorry for your loss! Sending you love and hugs!" said one fan in her comments section.
Sharon signed the message off alongside her three children
Another said, "To you and your family… may his memory bring you joy, his spirit bring you solace and the love you shared bring you peace."

Sharon, Kelly, Mike, and Patrick grew up in Pennsylvania together. When Sharon's career flourished, so did Mike's as they co-starred in 1995 film "The Quick and the Dead" together. They attended red carpets together in promotion of the movie.
Prior to the appearance with his sister, Mike appeared in 1990's "End of the Night." While his career wasn't as well-known as Sharon's, he did continue to make periodic appearances in movies and on television. In 1996, he appeared in "One Tough B--tard."
His latest appearance was in 2022's "Destinos Opostos." In 2000, he made a three episode stint on soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful."
Patrick died of a heart attack in February 2023. "We did lose my brother Patrick Joseph Stone," she said in an Instagram video.

She also described Patrick as "big and real handsome" in her memoir, adding he had "the kindest, the most generous, the softest of heart." Further, Sharon dubbed Patrick “the best of all four of us kids."
Sharon previously suffered intense loss, especially in terms of motherhood. She was open about suffering from several miscarriages.
In 2022, she commented on a PEOPLE Instagram. "We, as females don't have a forum to discuss the profundity of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage. It is no small thing, physically nor emotionally yet we are made to feel it is something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure."
Again, Sharon alluded to her struggles while speaking to AARP. She said, "I've survived everything — sexual harassment, miscarriages, a brain bleed, divorce, a lightning strike. I don't have time to fool around. I'm here to be a healthy and present parent, a good daughter and an engaged citizen. Everything else is just a distraction."
