See All the Stars Arriving on the Red Carpet at the 2026 MTV VMAs

The MTV VMAs are back for another year of memorable moments and buzzy live performances.
On Sept. 27, Snoop Dogg hosts the 2026 edition of the music awards show, which honors the best in the industry, from music video craft to the songs that defined the last 12 months. Madonna, following her hit album Confessions II, leads the scoreboard with 13 nominations, followed closely by Taylor Swift with 11 and Sabrina Carpenter with 9.
Nirvana will receive the annual Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, while Swift will accept the inaugural Artist Director Honors and premiere the music video for her new single “Patient Zero,” featuring Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell. Presenters include Charli xcx, Teyana Taylor,Tyla and Off Campus stars Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright.

The 2026 VMAs are airing live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 27, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET (4:30 to 6:30 p.m. PT) on CBS, with a simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. The show will be available globally on Paramount+ and MTV the following day.
