Though Prince Harry is now happily married to Meghan Markle and the father of two children, his past was a bit more exploratory. He dated jewelry designer Chelsy Davy on and off from 2004 to 2011, and she was his first serious relationship in the public eye.
In a vulnerable new essay, Chelsy, now 40, has revealed that "commitment wasn't exactly my strong suit" before she met her now-husband Sam Cutmore-Scott.
"Looking back... commitment wasn't exactly my strong suit," Prince Harry's ex wrote, adding: "If I'm completely honest, the only thing I was committed to was having fun." This comes after Meghan demanded princess 'treatment' and it's about to blow up in her face.

To celebrate a decade since her business, Aya Jewels, launched, the entrepreneur reflected on the past 10 years, during which she also dated Prince Harry. Though she is now settled down with three children, Leo, four, Chloe, three, and Finn, six months, eagle-eyed fans still reminisce about the two's relationship from time to time.
"Marriage and motherhood had never been particularly high on my to-do list," she wrote. "Both seemed to represent exactly the things I had spent my adult life avoiding: permanence, responsibility, roots, and having to take somebody else's plans into account."
"It wasn't that I suddenly developed some great romantic vision of settling down," she continued. "It was much more instinctive than that. I met Sam and, for the first time, I knew I wanted a family, specifically with him."

She also credited the timing of her meeting with her now-husband. "I was also 35 by then, so I can't give Sam all the credit. Timing, and possibly biology, may have played their part."
"I had never organized my life around having children, and by the time I realized I wanted them, I was very lucky that it was still possible," she revealed. "There is a version of my life in which it didn't happen, simply because it was never on my radar, and I'm very grateful that it did."
Chelsy and her now-husband married in Mauritius in 2022 after she wrote in her essay that "commitment wasn't exactly my strong suit."
She noted, "I was fiercely protective of my freedom. I didn't expect anybody to change their plans for me, and I certainly didn't want anybody expecting me to change mine for them."
"I've gone from one form of chaos to another," she wrote in the lengthy piece. "This one just happens to involve considerably more laundry."
"I loved that life, and I'm very glad I had it. I just wouldn't swap this one for it."
Chelsy has previously been vocal about her high-profile relationship with Harry, stating, according to Hello!,"I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn't cope. I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid, and it was horrible."
