Paris Jackson is pushing forward in her legal fight with Michael Jacksonās estate. The latest dispute centers on whether the court should keep financial records hidden from the public
The latest developments in Parisā fight over her fatherās estate
TMZ reported that newly filed court documents show Paris opposing estate co-executor John Brancaās request to seal records connected to her objections over fee payments. Branca argues that public disclosure could harm future business deals or give adversaries information they could use against the estate.
Paris takes a different view. According to TMZ, she claims the sealing request appears ādesigned to manageā Brancaās reputation rather than protect the estateās interests. She wants the court to reject his request and keep the disputed information public.
The filing extends the broader dispute over transparency. According to TMZ, Paris argues that the estate remains open because of how Branca has managed it and says she still lacks meaningful insight into its finances.
Branca rejects her account, arguing that her motion contains āinflammatory rhetoric about matters that are irrelevantā to the issue before the court. Paris, meanwhile, claims his request to seal the documents appears ādesigned to manageā his reputation rather than āserve any interest of the estate.ā

Paris also cited her recent court victory over attorney bonus payments. A judge blocked future bonuses to third-party law firms unless the beneficiaries approve them in writing or the court authorizes them. The ruling also ordered the return of $625,000 in previous bonuses to the estate.
The singer and model has made similar accusations before. In an earlier filing, she claimed the executors used estate funds to āmock and belittleā her while avoiding the substance of her objections. Attorney Jonathan Steinsapir, who represents the estate, denied those allegations and accused Parisā team of spreading false or misleading claims.
TMZ reported that Paris also alleged Branca and the late John McClain received more than $120 million for their estate work. The executors have previously argued that Paris and her brothers, Prince and Bigi, received millions in benefits after their fatherās death.
The court has not yet ruled on Brancaās latest sealing request. Until then, the legal battle remains focused on access, accountability, and how much of the estateās financial business should remain private as the dispute moves forward.
