Caitríona Balfe, who stars in the hit historical time travel drama Outlander with Sam Heughan, is embracing the spirit of giving as the winter holiday season approaches, imploring fans to join her in a meaningful new project.
The 46-year-old revealed a new collaboration with the nonprofit Choose Love and the T-shirt design platform Everpress, sharing a special T-shirt design she made that will be on sale for a limited time, with proceeds going towards a great cause. In the accompanying photo, Balfe modeled the shirt, which featured a special flower design and text painted by her.
"I painted this little bunch of Forget Me Nots for this T-shirt collab with @chooselove and @everpresshq to help raise vital funds for refugees and displaced people around the world," she began her message.
Balfe praised Choose Love as she highlighted all the work the nonprofit has done, saying, "Choose Love has been providing lifesaving medical care, food shelter and dedicated support for LGBTQIA+ individuals and much more for 10 years now. They are an amazing organisation and I’m proud to support their work."

On Instagram, fans shared support for Balfe's charity collaboration, with many claiming that they've already bought a shirt.
"Got my order in! Love that you are collabing with #chooselove to raise such needed funds!" said one such fan, while similar comments read, "Ordered mine! Cant wait to wear it," and "YES…ordered!!...Thank you so much for always raising awareness to important causes!"
Others praised Balfe and the project, saying, "It’s beautiful! So proud of you!" and "Caitríona!! You are inspiration personified 👏👏👏 This idea together with your artwork are so cool!!"
Another fan shared a kind and earnest comment, replying to Balfe, "At a time when immigrants are facing so much prejudice around the world, this message is very important. I just ordered my shirt."
The T-shirt is currently on sale for $37 on the Everpress website, available in black, white, and natural raw colors. As of writing, the shirt will only be available for purchase for 13 more days. Any T-shirts people purchase will be printed and shipped after the two-week campaign concludes.
