Questions are being raised about Karoline Leavitt's marriage after she shared a new picture with her older husband.
The 28-year-old attended the rescheduled White House Correspondents' Dinner with her 60-year-old husband Nicholas Riccio in Washington on Friday evening, July 24. The event took place three months after its original date in April, when it was abruptly canceled after an armed gunman stormed the venue in an apparent assassination attempt. After the dinner, Leavitt took to Instagram to share some pictures from the event. The first snap showed Leavitt standing proudly, hand over her heart, as the National Anthem played. The second picture saw her sitting next to Donald Trump, whose marriage to Melania is at its lowest point due to a 'disturbing' reason.
Leavitt's final Instagram post was of her and Riccio in the Oval Office. The White House press secretary showed off her outfit, having opted for a completely sheer pale blue top and matching pants. She wore a bold makeup look, complete with false eyelashes, and styled her hair into an updo. Riccio stood with his arm around his wife and wore a black velvet tuxedo with a bow tie. Captioning the Instagram post, Leavitt wrote, "White House Correspondents Dinner finally in the books!" While some fans praised the pictures, plenty of critics slammed Leavitt's age-gap marriage. It came before Leavitt accidentally humiliated Trump as critics asked about his 'diaper'.

As the backlash against Leavitt's post unfolded, one person trolled, "Dad and daughter," while another joked, "Gramps on Girls V2." A third person echoed, "You look so pretty in that last picture with your dad!!"
Another Instagram user hit out, "It’s so disgusting how old your husband is," while someone else mocked, "Awww bring grandpa to work day!!!! love it!!!"

"Why you married 60 year old," an Instagram user questioned as a seventh critic asked, "How did it feel to have the old man attack you, berate and belittle you, on national tv for not giving him his calls? By old man I mean djt, not your husband."
The comment was referring to some rather awkward remarks President Trump made about his White House press secretary. Trump also gave an alarming warning to press secretary Leavitt that was exposed by a lipreader.
The 80-year-old spoke about Leavitt and how she gave birth to her daughter Viviana in May.
"Congratulations are also in order for our favorite White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who just had her second child," Trump said. "You and your husband, he’s great, she’s done a fantastic job, we all love her."
However, he seemed to troll his right-hand woman as he continued, "She’s done a fantastic job, she’s another one. She can be nasty!" The audience started laughing at the comments.
Trump quickly changed his tune, though, as he admitted, "But Karoline may have one of the hardest jobs in the White House. She has to deal with all of you, all of the time, and you can be very difficult. You can be very, very difficult people."
It comes after Leavitt, 28, looked unrecognizable in a 2018 throwback photo as plastic surgery rumors erupted.
