President Donald Trump's granddaughter is a passionate golfer herself, and she's anticipated to be watching the highly-awaited PGA Championship next week.
The oldest Trump grandchild, Kai Trump, aged 18, is a dedicated golfer who committed to the University of Miami in August 2024 to compete in women's golf for the Hurricanes starting this fall. She is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his former wife Vanessa Trump, and she has embraced public attention since accompanying her grandfather during his 2024 campaign.
Speaking with Irish Star Sports, Kai revealed which players she's most excited to watch at the 2026 PGA Championship, which begins on Thursday, May 14, at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. It comes as Rory McIlroy forced to shush Truist Championship crowd as Justin Rose interrupted.

Many first became familiar with Kai when she addressed the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July 2024, speaking in support of her grandfather's reelection campaign. Others have discovered Kai through her growing presence as a social media influencer.
Kai has offered glimpses into her world on social media, from her high school days to exclusive behind-the-scenes content from her Ryder Cup visit with her grandfather. She has accumulated more than 1.48 million subscribers on YouTube and over 2.7 million followers on Instagram.
Kai revealed to the Irish Star that she plans to watch the 2026 PGA Championships next week, with attention focused on Rory McIlroy - who was victorious at the Masters in April - defending champion Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young, and Matt Fitzpatrick.

"I'll be watching," Kai said. "I'm obviously looking forward to it because I love watching all the majors.
"But I think either Rory or Scottie - I'm rooting for those two," she continued. "So, we'll see what happens."
Kai was present at the 2026 Masters at Augusta National, posting photos on social media showing herself beaming on the pristine grass. Her caption read: "Had the best time at Augusta! It is definitely my favorite golf tournament. Huge congrats to @rorymcilroy."

She subsequently disclosed on her widely-followed YouTube channel that she experienced a "scary" allergic reaction at Augusta National, necessitating a steroid injection. She explained that she had an allergic reaction to hand soap that caused a breakout on her face, though the rash has since subsided.
According to the Palm Beach Post, she also joined her grandfather for the final round of the Cadillac Championship on Sunday, May 3, where she enjoyed the VIP treatment in the Trump Suite overlooking the 18th green. Beyond joining Trump for a front-row seat watching the world's elite golfers, she also hits the links with him. Kai revealed in an October 2025 YouTube video that she has been playing golf alongside her grandfather for years. "It's something he's always loved," she said. "And it's become a way for us to spend time together."
According to her NCSA Sports recruiting profile, Kai has been playing golf for 13 years. She has competed for Benjamin School, a prestigious institution located in Jupiter, Florida, and recently marked her final day as a high school student.
According to the Golf NIL High School Girls Valuation Rankings, Kai holds the No. 1 spot, boasting an impressive $2.25 million golf NIL valuation. Her current American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) ranking sits at 1,046.
Kai has teed it up at the Nicklaus Junior Championship, the Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship, and a Junior Tournament at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville.
In November 2025, she made her LPGA debut at The Annika at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. She carded a first-round 13-over-par 83, and her two-round total of 18-over 158 left her at the bottom of the leaderboard among 108 competitors.
