On Monday night, Jimmy Kimmel called out President Donald Trump's UFC birthday event at the White House.
The late-night host deemed the cage fighting affair "a mini January 6."
Kimmel also called out Trump for spending millions on the event after removing the East Wing of the White House to secure "a safe place to throw parties."
Jimmy Kimmel can't believe the lengths thousands of people would go to to "celebrate the orange one turning 80."
The late-night host skewered President Donald Trump's Freedom 250 UFC event, and all of its attendees, on Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live — calling the whole thing "a mini January 6."
Kimmel began his monologue by mentioning the New York Knicks' NBA Championship win before pivoting to Trump's ridiculous 80th birthday celebration at the White House on Sunday.
After joking about Eric Trump's bad seats above "the Plunder Dome" and Trump's oddly romantic walk-in with UFC CEO Dana White, Kimmel unloaded on the president's decision to "spend $60 million to publicly filet himself."
"I would also add that Trump knocked down the East Wing of the White House and wants a billion dollars because he needs to have a safe place to throw parties. Meanwhile, no problem throwing a giant 80th birthday cage match on the front lawn of the White House," Kimmel continued, noting, "UFC Freedom 250 had all the refinement and prestige as a Hooters at the Vatican."
Kimmel went on to say that he couldn't believe they let sweaty fighters and UFC staff use "every room" of the historic official residence of the president of the United States.
"Fighters warming up in the Diplomatic Reception Room, they had a guy in the Cabinet Room, they had fighters in the Roosevelt Room, they had a guy in the Oval Office ... and finally they had an event right out there on the Truman Balcony," Kimmel explained, dead-panning, "[It was] like a mini January 6."

Kimmel then launched into a takedown of the evening's dress code: "No one should be wearing shorts at the White House. Just never, no one ever."
He added, "The whole place smells like jock straps and Axe body spray now. And these are the same people, by the way, who gave President [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy a hard time because he didn't wear a suit to the meeting."
Kimmel noted that the whole Trump clan was on hand, including the first lady, Melania Trump, who the comedian joked "seemed to have fun watching somebody else be trapped in a cage at the White House."

He concluded, "This was the flag-waving patriotic 80th birthday he's been planning for a year now, and it was so much fun. It was so exciting. He almost stayed awake through the whole thing until it was time to take a little UF-Siesta."
Kimmel showed footage of Trump seemingly napping during a fight, adding, "That walk from the door to this chair really must have taken it out of him, because only Donald Trump could fall asleep at a birthday party sponsored by Monster Energy Drink."
The audience laughed as Kimmel noted that "this is why most 80th birthday parties happen at noon."

The Freedom 250 event featured seven UFC cage matches on the White House South Lawn, to the dismay of many bipartisan citizens. Outrage became loud when the night's heavyweight champion, Josh Hokit, insulted former first lady Michelle Obama to host Joe Rogan moments after winning his fight.
"Shout out to Trump for having the balls to put on some s--t like this," Hokit said on the Paramount+ broadcast. "And if I'm going to say anything, there's only one person more incredible than the Incredible Hulk and that's my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right America?"
Entertainment Weekly reached out to representatives for UFC, Paramount+, the White House, and Obama for comments.
"I understand that the Obamas are public figures but I'm completely against saying nasty and false things about people's families," UFC president and CEO White told TIME on Monday. "Everyone knows my position on free speech, but I hate that kind of nonsense."
