The pop icon looked timeless in a sheer lace dress with intricate detailing
Her appearance at the event comes days after performing at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix on Saturday, Oct. 11
Janet Jackson looked timeless as she stepped out for a good cause in Beverly Hills on Thursday, Oct. 22.
The pop icon, 60, attended the Dancers Against Cancer’s Gala of the Stars, benefiting dancers, choreographers, and their loved ones affected by cancer. Jackson attended to present Missy Elliott with the organization’s Icon Award.
To take in the night’s event — which also honored Toni Basil, Hilaria Baldwin, Vincent Paterson and the late Chita Rivera —Jackson wore a sheer lace dress.
The black gown channeled soft elegance, with its crochet lace creating scallop detailing throughout.

The dress featured a deep neckline and shoulder embellishments, cinched at the waist with a black belt.
Jackson wore the look with silver jewelry, including rings and large oval earrings, highlighted by her swept-back hairstyle.
The singer wore a wine colored lip and blush. Her smoky eye makeup, with mascara and eyeliner, brought out her eyes.
Jackson appeared at the event days after performing at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix on Oct. 11.

Her hour-long set marked her first Singapore concert in 15 years, according to The Straits Times.
Dressed in all denim, Jackson performed a wide range of her hits, including “Rock With U” and “Control,” according to the outlet.
Jackson’s last red carpet before attending the Gala of the Stars was the 2026 BET Awards in June.

She looked chic in a black T-shirt layered over a white collared shirt, with a wide studded belt and wide-legged black pants. She completed the look with multiple bracelets, large earrings, rings and a black fedora.
At the event, she presented Teyana Taylor with the Icon of the Year award, who was starstruck by Jackson during her acceptance speech.

“Oh my God, bitch, I’m gagging,” said Taylor. “They did not tell me Janet was coming! And it’s so crazy because when Kehlani said, ‘Janet’s here,’ I said, ‘Bitch, is that the surprise?’ I wasn’t sure!”
