Jamie Lee Curtis shared details about her last trip with Rob and Michele Reiner to Stonehenge for Spinal Tap at Stonehenge: The Final Finale.
She and her husband Christopher Guest were friends with the Reiners for decades.
She also revealed her last text with Michele had been about Curtis’ daughter Annie Guest.
Jamie Lee Curtis is opening up about the last time she spoke with Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner.
The 67-year-old got emotional when recalling her final memories with the couple, who were killed on Dec. 14, 2025. She shared that their final trip together had been to Stonehenge last August while her husband Christopher Guest and Rob were filming the concert film Spinal Tap at Stonehenge: The Final Finale.
“I took some beautiful photographs of families and Rob and Michele, particularly Robbie and Michele and my husband,” she told Entertainment Tonight in an interview posted on Sept. 25. “And when we got back, I had a couple large beautiful prints made, both Stonehenge itself and the family pictures. And so the last time I saw them, I went to bring them to their house without my husband, these framed large pictures.”
While she was dropping off the prints, she said the couple had been discussing their plans to gather a group of creatives together for a project resisting the current political climate. Curtis related that she was ready to join the Reiners and help however she could.
As for the last ever conversation she had with Michele, it had involved Curtis and Guest’s daughter Annie Guest, who is the Reiners’ goddaughter. At the time, Annie, 39, was pregnant and Michele wanted to send her money through Venmo.

“I wrote back to Michele, and I said, ‘Michele, you and Robbie have always been so loving and generous to both my children. You know, Annie’s a grown woman. She’s going to have a baby very soon ... You don’t have to send her anything.’ And the last text I had from Michele was, ‘You’re not being helpful,’” Curtis recalled with a laugh.

Curtis and Guest, who is a longtime collaborator of Rob’s, have been friends with the Reiners for decades. In fact, they were so close that the Halloween star led the tribute to Reiner during the 2026 Emmy Awards.
“He was generous and kind and funny as hell,” Curtis said at the ceremony, her voice cracking. “We all miss Rob, and Michele, and all that we lost this year.”
Nick Reiner, the younger son of Rob and Michele, is currently facing first degree murder charges for their slayings. Prosecutors recently announced that he would not be facing the death penalty if convicted.
