Ivanka Trump made fans jaws drop with her gown for the state dinner honoring Chinese President Xi Jinping, as they found the luxe dress to be “stunning.”
Ivanka, 44, attended the state dinner with the rest of her family, as her father, President Donald Trump, hosted the Chinese president following his visit to the U.S. to discuss a number of topics.
And while some were focused on she was seated with at the event, others are finding themselves more focused on her elaborate gown for the dinner, featured beaded and fringe details over a pale ice blue fabric.

Ivanka appeared to be wearing the Crystal-Embroidered Corset Column Gown by Georges Hobeika, which featured intricate crystals and fringe details on the bodice, over a satin skirt. The dress actually retails for $6,038.
Despite the high price tag, Ivanka's followers couldn’t believe the overall look, which she posted on Instagram, praising it for being “stunning” and “classy.”
“Stunning as always, Ivanka!” one person said on Instagram, while another wrote, “So gorgeous.”

“Ivanka your dress is absolutely stunning and that color is just gorgeous on you. You all look so beautiful,” another added, while a third shared, “So much class, grace and beauty.”
“Everyone looks gorgeous. Ivanka, your dress is wow. I love that color for evening!” a fifth exclaimed, while a sixth mused, “Gorgeous gown. Love the color.”
Others remarked on the dresses also sported by her half-sister, Tiffany Trump, who opted for a champagne colored gown, sister-in-law, Lara Trump, who wore a sheer sparkling brown dress, and her daughter, Arabella Kushner, who wore a black velvet dress.
“These dresses are DIVINE,” one person wrote, while another said, “Stunning ladies. Per usual.”
While most of the comments were positive, some still expressed negative viewpoints of the administration and the women of the family, taking aim at Trump and his policies.
“At his $40 million convention last week, Donald Trump spoke for over two hours. Not one second of it was spent talking about bringing down gas and grocery prices and the only housing policy he spoke about was building himself a ballroom,” one person fumed on Instagram. “Donald Trump & Jen Kiggans fight for themselves and leave the rest of paying the price.”

“Vote for him twice and I agree. Parading in ball gowns yet the average American can’t hardly afford groceries,” another remarked. “They are going to have a rude awakening come November.”
Despite being present at the state dinner, the first daughter has taken more of a backseat role in her father’s administration during his second term, after serving as a senior advisor during his first.
