President Donald Trump announced "major combat operations" against Iran on Feb. 28, with massive joint U.S.-Israeli strikes targeting military, government and infrastructure sites.

Delegations from the United States and Iran arrived over the weekend at the Bürgenstock resort in Switzerland, where they entered negotiations aimed at a war-ending deal based on a memorandum of understanding signed last week by both countries.

Iranian state media is also reporting that three foreign oil tankers were turned back in the Strait of Hormuz after encountering warnings from the Iranian Navy on Friday.The tankers were reportedly attempting to "illegally" transit the Strait of Hormuz and use the Southern Corridor.
