Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple Martin soaked up the sun in a new selfie.
The actress opted for a plunging black swimsuit, while her mini-me wore a red-and-white striped bikini top.
“Summer, so far so good,” Paltrow wrote.
Gwyneth Paltrow is spending quality time with her daughter Apple Martin following the 22-year-old’s college graduation. On August 14, the actress shared a rare makeup-free selfie featuring her eldest child.
“Summer, so far so good,” Paltrow, 53, wrote in the caption of a new Instagram carousel.

The cover photo saw the mother-daughter duo flashing the camera sweet smiles as they lounged on patio beds. Paltrow posed in a plunging black swimsuit and oversize shades with her golden blonde hair tied back in a low ponytail. Meanwhile, the Vanderbilt University grad wore a red-and-white striped string bikini top and blue-and-red striped bottoms; she styled her blonde tresses in beachy waves and messily tousled about. The model held her phone in one hand and had a coconut water beside her.
Paltrow also shares son Moses, 20, with her ex-husband Chris Martin. They were married for over a decade before divorcing in 2016. The Marty Supreme star tied the knot with her second husband, Brad Falchuk, in 2018, becoming stepmom to his two kids, Isabella and Brody.

Chris and Paltrow recently reunited to celebrate Apple’s college graduation in Nashville, Tennessee. In May, they were spotted separately at the ceremony, according to photos obtained by TMZ. Martin accompanied Moses, while Paltrow and Falchuk were seen with Apple after she received her degree in law, history, and society.

Paltrow paired a bright red cardigan with a blue sundress, accessorizing with a pair of scarlet open-toe stilettos and black sunglasses. As for Apple, she wore a white dress, Ray-Ban frames, and black heeled ballet flats with her cap and gown.

Paltrow and Martin announced their separation in her Goop newsletter in 2014. They famously called it a “conscious uncoupling,” a phrase coined by therapist and author Katherine Woodward Thomas that describes a mutually respectful separation.
“It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate,” Paltrow and the Coldplay frontman wrote at the time. “We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.”
They continued: “We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.”
