George Kittle joked that Taylor Swift was "bullied" into performing her hit song "Shake It Off" at the Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville last June

Kittle said on the March 17 episode of the Bussin' with the Boys podcast that his mom and his wife Claire's mom told Swift she "should totally sing" and "kind of bullied her into doing it"

"No one bullies Taylor Swift, I'm kidding," Kittle quickly added after sharing the story

George Kittle was thrilled to have Taylor Swift take the stage at his and Travis Kelce's Tight End University concert last June.

Though the 32-year-old San Francisco 49ers star joked the singer was "bullied" into singing her mega-hit "Shake It Off" during the Tight Ends & Friends concert — which caps off the Tight End University weekend each year — by his mom and his mother-in-law.

"Last year when Travis told me Taylor was coming to Tight End University, I was like, 'That's sick. If she wants to go to anything, here are the events that we have planned,' and she showed up to everything," Kittle shared on the Tuesday, March 17 episode of the Bussin' with the Boys podcast.

Kittle then revealed that "the only reason" Swift performed at the concert, which also featured a set from Luke Combs, "is because my mom and Claire's mom were like, 'You should totally sing' and like, kind of bullied her into doing it."

"No one bullies Taylor Swift," Kittle quickly said, adding, "I'm kidding," before crediting Swift for recruiting Combs, 36, to perform that night.

Kittle recalled the crowd's reaction to Swift taking the stage at the concert and said he's "never actually heard a venue be that loud before." The 49er also described Swift as "incredible" during the episode.

With another Tight End University weekend coming up this summer, Kittle said he'll "be cold calling about 20 artists in the next two weeks" to build the lineup, but he stayed mum about whether or not Swift will return.

"I cannot confirm or deny," Kittle said when the hosts asked if "the one" — referring to Swift — would be performing again.

Swift shocked fans at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville when she took the stage to perform her hit song "Shake It Off" on June 24.“We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play and these are the tight ends,” Swift, who wore a black mini dress and matching boots, said as she introduced the song.
