Daniel Radcliffe paid Tracy Morgan a visit at his iconic New Jersey mansion, and he’s opening up about what he saw inside.
The Harry Potter alum, 36, joined Seth Meyers for the Monday, March 16 episode of Late Night to promote his new NBC comedy with Morgan, 57: The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.
During the conversation, Meyers says of his former SNL castmate, that “until you work with him, you don’t fully appreciate how much he is Tracy Morgan.” Radcliffe enthusiastically agrees.
The Merrily We Roll Along actor then shared that he’s actually been to Morgan’s New Jersey home, and inside, “it’s everything you think.”
“He does have a shark tank,” Radcliffe says. “I think that’s the big one. Then he’s got like 11 ‘smaller’ fish tanks.”
He adds that Morgan has a “pool table with piranhas in the bottom,” as well as a cone snail, “which is the deadliest creature in the world by weight,” Radcliffe says. “It can kill a blue whale.”
Morgan’s other notable collectables include a “glass from the Titanic” and “one of Michael Jackson’s gloves.” Not to mention an indoor double-height basketball court.
“If your life ever takes you to a place where Tracy Morgan is inviting you to his house, you just have to go,” Radcliffe says.

Meyers then shared his own personal anecdote related to Morgan’s fish tanks. He recalls one time after an Emmys ceremony, “all of the New York people” caught a redeye flight back to the East Coast together. “Everybody wanted to go to sleep, and then Tracy was just talking about his fish tanks,” Meyers says. “I remember John Slattery was like, ‘I want to go to sleep but I also feel like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.’ ”
In 2019, Morgan and his then-wife Megan Wollover took PEOPLE on an exclusive tour of his 22,000 sq. ft. mansion, which they shared with their daughter Maven, now 12.
“Look at it — it’s a castle,” Tracy said of his seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom home. “I always wanted a big house when I was a little boy. Who ain’t dream of having a big house. So we bought it.”
Morgan purchased the home in 2015 after a near-fatal, multi-vehicle highway crash. He worked to transform the mansion with help from designer Michael Corrales.
He shared that some of his favorite features included the movie theater, basketball court and bowling alley. They use the pool table that also doubles as a fish tank to entertain friends and family. The eight sharks and several other large fish lived in a 20,000-gallon reef in the backyard.
