Carly Rae Jepsen is going to be a mom!

The "Call Me Maybe" singer has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Cole M.G.N., less than a month after the couple tied the knot in a private New York City wedding ceremony. Jepsen announced her pregnancy on Monday, sharing a series of black-and-white photos alongside Cole, showing off her baby bump.

"Oh hi baby," she captioned the post. In the comments section, her husband shared love for Jepsen and their baby by dropping three heart-eyes emojis.

The big news comes weeks after the couple said their vows at NYC's Chelsea Hotel on Oct. 4. They were engaged for over a year after crossing paths at a songwriting session in 2021. They started dating officially in 2022 and two years later, Cole popped the question during a month-long trip to Europe in September.

Jepsen opened up to *Vogue* about the ceremony last month, sharing that her aunt and uncle officiated the intimate ceremony which included just 100 guests.

"Walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream," she said of the ceremony. "Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else."

Reflecting on their wedding day, she added, "Often in life we’ll imagine things, and even though the reality can be good, it’s never quite *as good*. This day felt like the exception. It was better than either one of our wildest dreams."

Jepsen also hinted that the couple's family plans were already in motion, noting that it took three bridal boutiques before she decided on a dress.

"We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing,” she shared at the time.

In 2023, Jepsen told PEOPLE that her meet-cute with the music producer came while working on her 2023 album, *The Loveliest Time*. They first collaborated on her song "So Right," which featured a skit about whether or not it's a "good idea" for them to hang out together after hours.

Jepsen told the outlet, "I would've been too shy beforehand to be like, 'Do you want to do a skit at the beginning?' But now that we're so close, it was just really fun and playful to be like, 'Let's have this very '80s drama skit at the beginning where you ask me if I should come over and I say no, but then I come anyways.'"**
