Reality TV star Teddi Mellencamp is keeping it real.
The *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* alum, who’s undergoing cancer treatment, regularly opts for wigs and/or hats, but, on Thursday, she pulled everything off her head to show the small amount of her own hair.
Captured on her Instagram Stories, the move was set to the Chicks’ 2006 song “Not Ready to Make Nice,” giving it a defiant tone.
Mellencamp explained last month that she’d lost all her hair from radiation.

The daughter of rocker John Mellencamp, Teddi was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2022 and, despite many surgeries, she learned three years later that it had spread to her brain and lungs.
In April, she sought advice on how to style her hair during that awkward regrowth stage.
“You guys have been so much help in giving me amazing referrals for great wigs that I’ve been using for the past however many months,” said Mellencamp, 45. “But my question now is.... now what? What? The hair is too long for the wigs and I’m sick of the wigs, but like, what are we supposed to do here? Someone send tips.”

She’s undergoing immunotherapy, which she plans to do a little longer, although she’s said that doctors told her last October that there was “no trace of cancer” in her body.
Mellencamp was candid in June when she spoke about the anxiety her health problems have given her.

“So ever since I was diagnosed with stage four cancer, I get immunotherapy monthly,” Mellencamp said in a video update. “And I was getting CAT scans and MRIs monthly, but this past time, they decided they’re going to wait three to four months in between the tests. This has created such a nervous, raging anxiety inside of me.”
She’s also spoken about dating, saying in April that she was dating an older man, so the mom of three, with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, is moving forward.
“I am sort of able to walk in heels again,” Mellencamp captioned a video of herself walking. “Not great but baby steps.”
