Britney Spears is breaking her silence weeks after landing in legal trouble.**

The "Oops!… I Did It Again" singer, 44, returned to social media Friday by posting a video of herself goofing around with son Jayden Federline and expressing gratitude for her fans.

"Thank you guys for all your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing!" Spears wrote in the caption. She added a string of rose emojis and a call to "Stay kind!"

The post marked the pop star's first public comments since she was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Ventura, Calif., on March 4. She was released the following morning, per arrest records from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.**

The Grammy winner's arrest was listed as a "cite and release" that did not include probation. Her next court date is scheduled for May 4.

A representative for Spears called her arrest "an unfortunate incident" at the time and said her loved ones were planning to step in "with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success" moving forward.**

“This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life," the rep said in a statement. "Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time."

The rep continued, "Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being."**

This isn't the first time Spears has found herself in legal hot water. She previously faced four misdemeanor charges after she got into an alleged hit-and-run accident with a parked car in Los Angeles in 2007. The charges were later dropped after she paid the vehicle's owner for the damages.

Spears was placed under a conservatorship the following year, which she would not be released from until 13 years later in 2021. Last month, ** learned that the artist sold her entire catalog to publisher Primary Wave for around $200 million.
