The leaves are changing colors, it’s finally cool enough outside to wear a giant oversized scarf (Lenny Kravitz must be thrilled), you’ve already watched Practical Magic multiple times, and you have the sudden urge to buy things at the grocery store that have absolutely no business being pumpkin-flavored.
In other words, summer is over. And Billie Eilish has dyed her hair a golden orange hue that would be at home on any fall moodboard. Some might call it strawberry blonde, but I’m going with “pumpkin spice” to really lean into things.

While Billie has certainly been blonde before, she typically goes for a much darker brunette shade. Like, this is her back in May:
Her new look comes amid wrapping production on Sarah Polley’s adaptation of The Bell Jar (where she has auburn brown hair). Billie plays Esther Greenwood, who, per Variety, lands “a magazine internship in New York City and chronicles her struggles with ambition, identity and mental health amid the stifling societal expectations for women in the 1950s.” The singer stars alongside Carey Mulligan, as well as Danielle Deadwyler, Ike Barinholtz, and Connor Storrie.
