Anne Hathaway spoke about the changes in her style amid pregnancy at The Odyssey premiere in New York City

Anne Hathaway is embracing motherhood in style.

The actress, 43, is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman and is doing so during a mega months-long press tour for her newest films, the latest release being The Odyssey.

For the movie’s premiere in New York City on July 14, Hathaway — who is already mom to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6 — wore a custom Prada halter gown, but while speaking with Extraon the red carpet, she admitted that she loves to squeeze in a casual fashion moment when she can.

“How much fun have you been having? Do you wear sweatpants anymore?” Hathaway was asked, to which she responded, “Not recently, but lately I’ve found that sweatpants don’t fit as well as palazzo pants, so [they] are my pregnancy pants of choice.”

Since announcing the news of her growing family on June 19, Hathaway has embraced her bump in a variety of fashionable outfits tied to the theme of The Odyssey, per her stylist Erin Walsh, who shared detailed insight on how she’s dressed the star to reflect her new chapter.

In an Instagram post, Walsh wrote that she chose a golden Lela Rose gown for Hathaway to reflect “mama bear energy.” And for the premiere in Paris, Walsh selected a deep brown custom Louis Vuitton dress to symbolize “grounding, divine energy.”

One of Hathaway’s more vibrant ensembles as of late included a bright red Ashlyn New York’s Spring/Summer 2026 jumpsuit that was chosen for its color that “demands attention and emanates joy” — “even if she did wear it backwards,” Walsh added of Hathaway’s accidental faux pas.

When PEOPLE had the Oscar winner on the 2026 World’s Most Beautiful Issue cover, she spoke about how being a “boy mom” has “really informed” her fashion choices over the last decade (Hathaway has not revealed the sex of her third child).

“I’m a tomboy! I love that being a boy mom has really informed my fashion,” she said. “I have to always be able to go from a serious business meeting to, like, a basketball court. You have to be able to play pickup basketball at any point, in any outfit.”

Hathaway continued: “So [I tell myself]: When you get dressed in the morning, dress wisely because you 100 percent are going to have a projectile thrown at you probably by the end of breakfast.”
