Amazon Prime can’t get enough of Melania Trump.
Months after Amazon MGM Studios released the documentary film Melania, her senior adviser Marc Beckman announced Tuesday that the first lady will be the subject of a new Amazon Prime docuseries slated to be released on the platform later this year.
“This fall, we are following the film with a docuseries surrounding the first lady, surrounding Melania Trump,” Beckman told Real America’s Voice host Eric Bolling, adding that the project is a “completely different look at her world” than the Brett Ratner-directed film.
While Melania chronicled the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second inauguration in 2025, the new show will follow Melania at the beginning of her husband’s second term.
“We open the window, a little bit, into her private life, her marriage, her family,” Beckman explained. “We open a little deeper into her career, as well as her philanthropy, but with the docuseries, it’s a little bit different. It’s shot different. It’s a different story. It’s a full new experience for the viewers.”
He added: “I hope everybody tunes in because it’s gonna show a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet.”
Amazon has not returned The Independent’s request for comment about the project.

Melania was a controversial move on Amazon’s part for several reasons.
The project marked the return of Rush Hour director Ratner, who moved to Israel following his exile from Hollywood due to multiple sexual misconduct allegations in 2017. He has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged with any crimes.
The movie was also panned by critics and earned just over $16 million globally, making it a financial loss for the studio after its hefty cost — $40 million for the documentary, with the marketing alone costing an estimated $35 million — sparked speculation that Amazon had made the investment to get close to Donald Trump.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos defended Melania’s $75 million price tag in an interview with CNBC in May, deeming it a “good business decision.”
“You know that it did very well in theaters. It's done very well on streaming. People are very curious about Melania, so even though I had nothing to do with it, you know, it appears that the Amazon team made a very wise business decision,” Bezos told CNBC.
He denied that the film was made to buy favor with the president, who he described as “a more mature, more disciplined version of himself” in his second term.
In July, the president’s financial disclosures revealed that he had received a licensing fee of $10.71 million for the documentary.
