General Hospital's young Danny Morgan had a pretty bad week, between the fallout with his sister and the brawl with his best bud. With Charlotte Cassadine being sent to boarding school, Danny's scuffle with Rocco Falconeri and later, his dispute with Scout Cain, are bound to leave him lonely. One thing Danny wants to do right away is repair his relationship with his sister, just as his mom would want, but how can he do it?

5 Possible Steps Danny Can Take to Reunite with Scout on GH1) Apologize to Rocco while sharing the real context of the fight with Scout

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) recently got into a brawl outside the Q boathouse. When Rocco invoked the name of Danny's deceased mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Danny lost his temper and punched his former best friend. Later, he tried to connect with Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) who was livid with him for siding with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and punching Rocco. As such, told him to leave and cut him out of her life.

Since Danny is contrite, his first step should be to sincerely apologize to Rocco. That would take some of the guilt off his chest while saving him from police charges that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) may bring against him for hurting Rocco. Now that Rocco has shared the real context of the fallout including Rocco's comment about his mother, Scout may sympathize with Danny's stance.

2) Lean on their shared grief with a quiet, constant presence

After his father's arrest to save Rocco, Danny has been having issues with his former best friend. After the recent problems surrounding Charlotte, Danny has no friend to turn to. In such a situation, he only has his half-sister to share their common grief of losing their mother. Danny may remind Scout of the same and ask for her understanding.

He can also play the elder brother and be there for Scout's needs, fights and grief. If he stops showing explosive reactions or making demands from her, but shows up consistently as the reliable brother, he may eventually convince Scout that he has changed for the better.

3) Respect her love for Drew despite him being Drew

Just as Danny's dislike for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is real and justified, so is Scout's love for her father. Danny needs to see things from Scout's point of view and admit that Scout still loves Drew as her only living parent. As such, he must not try to impose his feelings on her. Danny may show maturity by restraining his reactions when Scout mentions her father and never responding with eye-rolling or picking a fight.

Moreover, Danny needs to step away from actively plotting against Drew. When Drew's own behavior, his manipulations and eventual disasters come to light, Scout may realize her mistake and turn to Danny herself.

4) Leverage extended families for space for drama

Danny is aware of how both sides of his family dislike Drew, while loving Scout. Moreover, Drew has systematically isolated Scout from the Davis family and her Quartermaine connection. As such, he may ask the elders on both sides of his family, his great-aunt, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), and his maternal grandmother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), to help provide a neutral family environment for the siblings to reconnect.

Also, Danny needs to assure Scout that he does not want another dispute or to prove his point. He must step back from his aggressive posturing and his defensive retaliation over Charlotte's actions. He may also give Scout enough space to blow off steam or indulge in her side of the drama without Danny judging her.

5) Seek support from Jason and focus on his own healing

As mentioned before, while Lulu and Drew are busy finding faults with and targeting Danny, it's hard to forget that he is also a lonely teenager navigating the grief of losing his mother. Since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has taken the big decision of stepping away from the mob to focus on Danny, his should make the most of this. He must turn to Jason's guidance to curb his reckless behavior.

Moreover, Danny must address the underlying issues leading up to his angst. Taking therapy and talking to responsible elders could be his ultimate tools to handle residual depression. When Scout sees a calmer, healthier and more trustworthy Danny, actions will likely speak louder than words for both of them.

Will honest efforts from Danny resolve the differences between him and Scout in the near future? Share your thoughts in the comments.
